Nocciolata

Nocciolata-ambientataWhat is RdA’s Nocciolata?

A soft and fragrant blend of chocolate and hazelnuts, Nocciolata is a treat worth having. Rigoni have created their own flavour by blending selected organic
ingredients including dark chocolate, hazelnuts (16%) brown sugar, skim milk powder, cocoa butter and sunflower oil.

Why choose Nocciolata…

nocciolatabig … because it’s a healthy treat: Hazelnuts, dark chocolate, sunflower oil, skimmed milk, cocoa butter, vanilla, brown sugar, sunflower-lecithin emulsifier (not OGM), all ingredients are organic and free of added aromas, fats or artificial colourants. From the raw materials to the finished product, Nocciolata is the result of a chosen ethic to protect the consumer and the environment …

… because it is easily digested. Nocciolata becomes a soft and homogeneous cream after being blended, then cooled from 50 to 30 degrees, filtered and blended a second time to achieve a light and healthy product. The processing phase takes about 60 hours to complete.

The Product

Hi Vilislav! Many thanks for contacting us. Bulgaria is a new market for us (we started to sell there last year) and we have only introduced our “regular” size. After understanding consumers reaction, we will decide if other formats can fit the market requests or not.
Thank you for choosing Nocciolata! All the best!

Please advise where to find Nocciolata in NYC.
I find your site looking for a healthy substitute to Nutella, hope to be able to buy it !

  • Jan 12.10.2010 ore 4:50 PM

Thank you very much for your answer. It is good to know that the flavour is natural vanilla extract. Many of other so-called “natural flavours” are produced by methods of biotechnology and I dislike that. Maybe I was prejudiced? Your answer was very helpful and so I will taste Nocciolata again.

  • Andrea Rigoni 05.10.2010 ore 7:17 PM

Dear Jan, as the Nocciolata you bought in Italy was over a year ago, then I can safely say that it has been improved in both nutritional and textural terms. Our products are subject to strict European regulations for organic ingredients so there is no question of false claims. The aroma referred to is a natural vanilla extract taken from organic vanilla beans (all organic certified). Assuming that your jar has the Rigoni di Asiago bar code and references on it, then the only possible reason that the flavour could have become so unpleasant is that the product was in strong sunlight or over-heated after leaving our warehouses. Kind regards

  • Jan 05.10.2010 ore 7:15 PM

Hi, many years ago I bought Nocciolata in Italy and I liked it very much. Now I bought it in Germany and I was disappointet. The taste is artificially. On the jar I read that now it contains flavour. In addition to it: On the Nocciolata-website you claim that “all ingredients are organic and free of added aromas” – This is definitely wrong, the list of ingredients says that it does contain flavour. In my opinion products of organic farming should be completely free of added aromas. So I am sorry to tell you that I will not buy Nocciolata any longer.

  • Andrea Rigoni 30.09.2010 ore 2:46 PM

Hi Felicia, thank you for you enquiry. Unfortunately our products are not available yet on the mentioned markets. If you need any further information, don’t hesitate to contact us again. Best greetings from Italy.

  • felicia 30.09.2010 ore 2:44 PM

hi, is this item available in Asia? (Singapore, Hong Kong/Macau)?

  • Andrea Rigoni 06.09.2010 ore 12:37 PM

Hi Ulla, we’re sorry about your disappointment. Please be sure that every day we do our best to satisfy our customers. In this case, Nocciolata recipe comes from many years of researches and product test, and the ingredients are balanced according to this recipe. Recently we won an award in the USA and is actually recommended for the high quality standards. We can guarantee that Nocciolata is 100% natural without any artificial flavours. We saw that you’re writing from Germany: we’ve just received a delegation of five journalists coming from your country, who visited our production and they were really impressed. By the way, Nocciolata is gluten free (all the ingredients are 100% gluten free certified). All the best.

  • Ulla 06.09.2010 ore 12:35 PM

Sorry, but im really disappointed about this creme … too much sugar, not enough chocolate !!! And it contains flavour – so I want to know: Is it glutenfree???

  • Angela 18.12.2009 ore 11:12 AM

Hello. Nocciolata is a fantastic product! I tried it during my holidays in Italy in Venice. Now I find it also in Germany and I’m a loyal consumer. But one jar is not enough for me and my three children! Why don’t you think to make a bigger jar like a “family pack”? Maybe it could also be a little bit cheaper … ;-)
My best wishes for Christmas and for the coming new year. Angela

  • Andrea Rigoni 17.12.2009 ore 5:50 PM

Before you go for your next jar, how about trying warmed Nocciolata with desserts & ice-cream or a spoonful with coffee.
