ORGANIC HONEY

Miele-ambientatoWhat is Rigoni di Asiago Organic Honey?

The virtues of honey were praised by our ancient ancestors the Egyptians, Assyrians, Greeks and Romans who recognized its extensive beneficial properties as a remedy for all ills. Today it is still considered an essential part of the modern diet. However, our forefathers did not have industrial, agricultural and urban pollution to contend with and it was indeed much easier to collect the pure goodness of honey. The organic principal protects us from consuming polluted honey.

Selected products and quality varieties
The Rigoni family have specialized in organic honey since 1992. To supply honey that is both tasty and nutritious, the hives are kept far away from urban and intensively farmed areas where polluting factors would damage it. Laboratory certification tests are a further guarantee that the honey is free of any chemicals.

Monofloral or Polyfloral honey
It is amazing how many different aromas and flavours are within the RdA range. Honey can be “monofloral” meaning the bees collect nectar from a single type of flower or plant over a limited period or “polyfloral” when they collect from a variety of plant-life over a longer period.
The flavour, colour and beneficial properties distinguish each plant variety.

Why choose RdA certified organic honey..

….. because it is pure goodness.

….. it is produced respecting nature and the consumer

…… and it is exclusively Italian grade A certified organic honey.

….. the organic label is an EE controlled certification to guarantee the purity of the product.

….. the absence of chemical residue ensures the beneficial nutrients remain
undamaged.

…. Rigoni di Asiago process honey at a low temperature – a technique created and patented by the Rigoni family. A further assurance that the nutrients are unharmed.

…. Expert beekeepers provide Rigoni di Asiago with a full range of honey from every region in Italy: Silver Fir, Acacia, Orange Blossom, Chestnut, Strawberry Tree, Eucalyptus, Wildflower, Lemon Blossom, Forest Honey, Apple Blossom, Mountain Rhododendron, Dandelion, Lime blossom.
